Who are the Everyday Heroes?
Everyday Heroes are all of us. Walking around in the world, doing the best we can, to do good to others and live our best life.

Some of these Everyday Heroes also happen to be our customers - lucky us. This time, we’re introducing Henrik from Aarhus, Denmark.

Who are you?
My name is Henrik Andersen. I am 62 years old, trained as an advertising photographer, and I have worked as a photographer for 40 years. Three years ago, I became self-employed. I am married and have two grown-up children.

Where are you based?
I live in Denmark, in Åbyhøj, which is a suburb of Aarhus, where I also have my studio.

What are you passionate about?
In addition to photography, my passions are sailing, skiing, and desserts.

What's your favorite dish?
When I go to a restaurant, I’m the type who starts by checking the dessert menu. All kinds of cake, ice cream, chocolate, liquorice… at home we have cake every day, and when we have guests, I’m in charge of dessert. Dessert is my favourite course. A solid second place goes to sushi.

What is your special skill?
I consider myself to be very thorough. Both as a photographer and in my private life, I try to do things properly and with attention to detail. When the groundwork is done well, the result is usually better.

How do you decide what to wear in the morning?
When I choose clothes in the morning, it depends on my schedule for the day. If I’m going to a meeting or spending time with clients, it has to be colour-coordinated, on the smarter side and stylish - and preferably with some colour. Or a lot of black.
If I’m heading out on an industrial shoot, it just needs to be practical and neutral. For a work-from-home day, it has to be comfortable, preferably corduroy.

How did you discover Revolution?
I happened to come across a really beautiful yellow corduroy shirt that was very comfortable to wear, and when the shop later got it in other colours, I was sold on Revolution.

Where do you source your Revolution styles?
I always buy my clothes in the same shop, Soho in Aarhus, because the selection suits me well, and the service and advice are top-notch.

What is the oldest piece of Revolution you own?
I still wear the yellow corduroy shirt - even now, three years after I bought it.

What other brands are in your wardrobe?
Apart from Revolution, I don’t own much from the same brand, but I do have some SuperDry, Selected, and Jack & Jones.

If our brand had a mascot, what kind of animal or creature do you envision representing it?
If I were to choose a brand mascot, it would be the snow leopard. It’s simply the coolest cat on the mountain - and the best dressed.

Which Revolution collab would you like to see in the future?
I share a boat with my two brothers, and I love it when we race in the local sailing club. All my sailing gear is from Musto, which I’m very enthusiastic about. A collaboration with Musto on sailing-inspired clothing for going ashore would be exciting.

As a thank you for telling his story, we sent Henrik a Revolution outfit. So you can spot him in more Revolution clothes around Aarhus😎
