This Revolution wardrobe stable overshirt is crafted from a heavy 8-wales cotton corduroy fabric, with a soft and velvety surface. The shirt is detailed with characteristic square utility chest-pockets, a front placket finished with tonal buttons and adjustable sleeve cuffs. The fabric was soon favored by schoolteachers and academics, and because corduroy was considered a very strong fabric, it became popular as a material for the working men's clothing after the Industrial revolution.
